Trying to find Leyland

I am trying to find any history of a family by the name of Leyland from Stoke on Trent , whose members were born around 1929 - 1940. Their mother may have had a maiden name of Ashby. There were 4 or five brothers. Their mother died very young and their father died within the next 5 years too, so the boys were split up and their surnames would have changed with their adoption to new families. Two of the brothers were Graham and Joseph, but I don't know the names of the others. If you think your family tree may link to this family, or even recognise the family I am describing, your help would be very much appreciated. |
