ELIZA MILLAR (also Elisa, and Miller) Born 1812 in Kincardine County Scotland. Daughter to William Millar and Anne Milne Married James McNaughton (also MacNaughton) in North Leith Parish Edinburgh Scotland 1826. Eliza and James settled in Australia in 1827 where James served as a prominent Chemist & Druggist in Sydney, New South Wales (1827-1837). They returned home to Edinburgh in 1836 but OPRs show that James remarried a Mary Bates in Scotland early in 1837. What happened to Eliza??? Did she die, or, did they divorce? If anyone has any information on Eliza, I would dearly love to hear from you. Regards, Kim. |
