Trying to find Slocombe

Jemima Slocombe born c1836 in Stanton Wick, Somerset. Parents were John born in Chelwood and Sarah possibly nee Westlake) born Stanton Drew. Jemima had a sister Mary Ann born c 1839). Were there any other children? Any information appreciated, however small.

Hi Diane. My greatgrandfather was a William Slocombe b Chelwood in 1831. His wife was called Sarah. Their son Harry was born in Stanton Wick in 1870. This must surely be part of the same family. My information came from the 1901 census. Let me know what you think, Anne.

Hi Anne, It does seem like it must be part of the same family. I got my information from the 1851 census. John Slocombe would have been born 1802 so may even have been the father or uncle of your William Slocombe. What do you think? Diane
