FRANCIS JOHN ALLEN wife unknown father of Francis Allen born 1843 place not known. He married Mary Ann Howe born 1841 in Norwich on 13 Jan 1861 at St Clement, Norwich, Norfolk. They lived in Sawyer's Yard, in Parish of St Edmund, Norwich. They must have moved to Ipswich sometime before 1865 when Frank (below) was born on 6th Oct 1865 in Purplett Street, Ipswich, but were back in Norwich living in Rampant Horse Yard, Fishgate Street, by the 1871 Census. Mary Ann was a widow in the 1881 census and living at 4 St Andrews Hill, Norwich with son Frank(Frank John Carter Allen) aged 15 an engineer. Her occupation was Lodging House Keeper. I cannot find the place of death or year of Frank (her husband), but it must have been sometime between the 1871 and 1881Census. Frank John Carter Allen married Lizzie Munday born 1870 in March 1897 in All Saints Church, Wandsworth, London. |
