Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 67 Send Message	Hi there. I am trying to trace my dads family. I have got back to my ggg grandfather Peter McFarlane and his wife Jean Johnson. Jean was born 26/12/1793 in Middle Church Paisley. Unsure of exactly when and where Peter was born, which is making it difficult to get any further back. They married in Abbey Paisley in 1815 and had at least 3 boys, Archibald b 1816, Daniel b 1819 and Peter ( my gg grandad) b 1822. As far as im aware ggg grandad was a seaman. If any of this rings a bell or if someone can offer me advice on where to look please contact me. Scotlands people cant help unless I can find out dates of birth or parents. Many thanks Vanessa
