I am trying to find any information on my g grandfather,Charles Langran born 1852 or 1853 in St Ives Hunts. There is no record of his birth at that register office, but I understand that it was quite common then for births not to be registered. He is on the 1901 census but none before that(?) He served with the army in the Cork area and my grandmother was born there along with with some siblings. He was married to Margaret Langran. I am really stuck now. Any help would be appreciated.
