Trying to find Clack

I am trying to trace back from my Grandfather Edward Clack (b 1912 in Christchurch). His Mother was Beatrice Bacon and his father was Edward Henry (he was known as Henry) Clack (1886-1970). I don't know where he was born which is why I'm stuck. I think his parents were called William and Mary. They had three children that my Grandad knows of: Edward (Henry), Queenie (I remember meeting her - she lived to 100), Dodie (Dorothy?) who he thinks died in her 20s in the Middlesex hospital, and a brother. All my Grandad knows is that he thinks his paternal grandmother married beneath her or something so they probably did move away from where the rest of the family lived. Thanks in advance for your help.
