Trying to find Waller

I am looking for information on the Waller family in St Albans, Hertfordshire. My great grandfather Walter Thomas Waller was born in St Albans (1874) and at some point served in the Grenadier Guards and later the London Docks police before moving back to St Albans. Walter's parents were Thomas (born 1846?) and Susan Elizabeth Webb (born 1849?). They married in December 1869 in St Peters Church St Albans and had 12 children. In the 1871 census Thomas aged 24 was living in Snatchup Alley with wife Susan, 23. He was a 'butler, not in work' and she was a plain needle worker. They had a daughter Amelia aged 12 months. According to 1881 & 1891 census Thomas was sexton at St Peters and in the 1901 census he was living in St Peters Street and working as a gardener and caretaker. Thomas' parents were James (born 1822?) and Hannah (born 1825?) and they had 7 children. According to the 1871 census James and Hannah were also living in Snatchup Alley - he was an agricultural labourer and his wife was a straw hat maker. Also living with them were their son William, a day labourer and their daughter Ellen a straw hat maker; there was also an unmarried aunt, aged 60 who was a straw plaiter and a boarder called James Payne who was a firewood seller. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks. Linda.
