Member Since: April 2006 Posts: 82 Send Message	James Stewart (c) 1803 born Glasgow...married Mary Brown (c) 1805, born Beaumont, Cumberland. Mother Elizabeth Brown, landowner. I descend from their son James 1838.......James senior was famour Architect. designed original Gilsland Spa Hotel building, and many churches........must have descendents in Carlisle through daughter Janet (c) 1831, or maybe John (also Architect) born 1839........please get in touch.
