Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 17 Send Message	Many of the men in my family have the prefix Goodwin to the surname of Smith. I believe it was a misspelling of the name Godding and was changed to Smith for mysterious reasons. If anyone has info about this I would be very grateful, Cathy.
