My grandmother, Bessie McGuiness, born c1890 in Lancs had a brother called John who moved to gold fields in Potchefstroom South Africa after 1st World War (he was in navy during war).Trying to trace this branch of family, also other relatives from their siblings Minnie McGuiness, Albert McGuiness and Lucy McGuiness
