i have a Mary Gatenby born 1832 Pickering N Yorks Married George Binns 27 Dec 1853 at Stillingfleet Parish Church She was daughter of george Gatenby and Sarah Butterfield

Hi, My great grandfather was called christopher gatenby and lived in maunby, north yorkshire. He was locally known as the grand old man of maunby, and i am trying to find out any info i can on him. I have researched and found some records, but have a few questionable records as to birth/ death dates which are conflicting.Also need details of his predecessors. many thanks, jonathan gatenby
