Hi, Can anyone help me to locate records for John Brown, born c.1815 Norwich Norfolk. He moved to the Shadwell/Wapping area of east London where he shows up in the 1851 census married to Elizabeth nee Matthews born c.1819 Ipswich Suffolk. John was a twine spinner/rope maker. John's father's name on his 1837 marriage certificate is Michael Brown. There is an IGI entry for a baptism on 5 Feb 1815 at St John de Sepulchre Norwich for a John Brown. Father's name is given as Michael and mother's name as Sarah, but the trail goes cold after that. All help very gratefully received. Jan
