AKERMAN Hi, this is an odd request and a bit of a long shot. My grandmother and great grandmother told me that the Akerman's originated from Germany/Austria and that a very distant relative had moved over to England as a member of the royal court and had been a hair dresser (? dresser of hair). I have contacted one other member of the family tree who has also heard the story and I was wondering if there are other Akerman decendents who have also heard tis story? Does anyone know anything else about the tale? I am currently investigating this,but have yet to find a link. Sarah (Akerman) |
