This being a history board I feel it pertinent for it to carry 2 book references that deal with Alexander history.. The first is often quoted but, never the less, a rare book. This is entitled 'Memorials of the Earl of Stirling & the House of Alexander'. The author Rev. Charles Rogers, LLD compiled it from his comprehensive research notes and it was published in 1877. I believe that the book runs to 2 volumes. The second is very recent and entitled 'A Documentary of Scotch* - Irish Alexander Family History'. It is written by Dr Sarah Alexander - Culton. There is a web site <www.houseofalexander.com/>. Although a long time Alexander researcher, I do not, as yet, hold either book, thus cannot comment further.
