All the family survived WW2. Frederick George FOOT married Violet Carol HUMPHREYS.1955 They have issue and grandchildren and great g.daughter. Frederick's wife has the honour of being a CHURCHILL FELLOW ( 1972) The FOOT's have ever been a hardworking family: raising themselves decently and encouragingly from their early lives as children in the shadow of WW1 and it's prologue and epilogue which inevitably took its toll of the working class folk...as it did many many other good families. I admire the FOOT's for their resilience - kindness, and always ready to help others. I am glad I married into the FOOT family.( as I knew it!) It is interessting and fascinating to find there are so many Foots out there which we never knew about...Frederick would have been delighted if Genes Reunited had been around when he was still alive! Our grandson Wesley is our main archivist and a treasure for his ability to be precise, concise and enthusiastic!! I am muddling along in his competent wake....far far away -he has been researching longer than myself....but I still have names and memories I can impart to him and our other lovely grandchildren. The FOOTs are truly blessed.
