I and my cousin arecurrently trying to fill in details ofour ancestor William Lang. Our Will as we refer to him was Capt Coxs'n aboard HMS Narcissus. We believe he followed his Captain F.W Aylmer aboard Hms Patrucolus but his naval history ends in 1815 with the end of the War with France. We suspect that he might have transferred to the Waterguard Division of Customs and Excise aboard H M S Fox the Revenue Cutter based at Plymouth as he married a Mary Bradley at Stoke Dameril in Dec 1811. Our Will and Mary had a daughter Mary in 1812 and in 1818 a son William Bradley at Devonport and followed his father into the Navy as of 1837 CS cert were issued and we have those. We would be grateful for any information about Our Will. More recently we have a Mary Lang born in Aug 1940 at Nuneaton General Hospital. Mary was adopted at 6 weeks and is my half sister. Again we would love to hear from Mary or any news of her. We are a large scattered family from the UK, USA, Falklands and New Zealand and we want news of her if possible
