Hello, I'm lookng for any relations of a Michael Connors, who lived in the Canton area of Cardiff. I think he was born in 1860. He was from Ireland I believe and there is a story to suggest that his real name was O'Connors but he changed it when he opened a cobblers shop. He was a tall man, about 6ft 8ins I'm told he used to ride a penny-farthing up cowbridge road. He married a lady called Emily. They had a son called James. He was born in 1895. James is my Great grandfather. They had three children Stanley, Brain and Muriel. Stan is my Grampy. Do you have any matches in you tree? If so please let me know? thank you. |
