Marilyn Ditch- 15.7.07 I am looking for any information on Sarah Ann Handley born 1865/67 in Derby, Derbyshire. In 1871 she is listed as living with Walter Biddulph, Sarah, and Sarah Ann and brother James.Sarah Ann lived with her grandparents in 1881 with Walter Biddulph listed as a lodger. Sarah Ann became a domestic servant and had a child Nellie Jephson Handley born in Birmingham she returned to Derby and later married Frederick Charles Martin in Derby. Frederick Martin was born in Nottingham but worked on the Railways. They had three more children children and then moved to Birmingham where they had two more including my father Walter Clifton Martin. Any information on Sarah Ann Handley and Nellie Jephson Handley would be greatly appreciated. |
