Hi Everybody
My Teece line originated in Dawley Shropshire and were mainly associated with coal mining
I do know that there was a Teece Mine in the area and also a "Teece Lane", in Telford, but have not found a family link to either so far. Does anyone know the history of the naming of "Teece Lane"
The Family line then extended into Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
My grandfather was Brian Teece b 1863 , (son of Philip Teece b 1833 and Elizabeth Crumpton b 1836) in Seymour Near Chesterfield Derbyshire he is evading detection with regard to where he :-
a) disappeared to after leaving his family possibly in the 1920's
b) died and when
I would love to hear from Anyone with links to my line which extends backwards to George Teece b 1680
Regards Dave
