My research shows that the Yendells were from South West England my particular branch were living in Somerset in the late 1700's. I have found that the name is spelt in different ways,Yendel, Yendle,Yandell, Yandall, Yandle, it seems from parish records that they were agricutural labourers working for one of the large estate's with the wives and girls of the family working as domestic servents or dairy maids.
