PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN. Annie Thompson was the child of JANE THOMPSON[born in DURHAM about 1874.JANE and her daughter ANNIE cannot be found on 1881census.JANE must have died early in life but what happened to ANNIE between birth and 1891census.By then ANNIE had been adopted by JANES elder sister MARY ANN THOMPSON and her husband JOHN SCORER so ANNIE THOMPSON appears as ANNIE SCORER on 1891census.ANNIE was born in PHILADELPHIA,DURHAM. The only record we have of her is 1891census and her marriage to THOMAS ELTRINGHAM IN gateshead[10a-967]We would like some details of her birth and where she lived and information on when and where JANE THOMPSON died. JANE THOMPSON parents were FRANCIS THOMPSON and JANE NOBLE born about 1825 and 1828,Both died before 1865 but her mother's brother ROBERT NOBLE and his wife ANN NOBLE were a great help with the young children after parents death. |
