THOMPSONS of NORTHHAMPTONSHIRE, SOUTH LINCOLNSHIRE and RUTLAND. My great grandmother: Mary Thompson was born in Easton-On-The-Hill near Stamford in 1819 (some records say 1821). Her father was Tom Thompson b1784 [Farmer].She married Samuel Cliffe b 1813, my g-grandfather from Manton, Rutland in 1848 at All Saints, Easton, Northhamptonshire.
