Hi If someones not too busy could you please look up Richard Jones b 1837 Madeley Shropshire on the 18661 census...he's down as a apprentise but i can't read the original image as what he was an apprentise for, Thanks Must get my eyes tested this is the second time i've struggled with reading.. Looks like image actually says relation to head - Assistant. Head of household is a grocer/tea dealer. Angela |

Hi Pam Had a look at the image and it says Assistant(written with f for first s,in the old fashioned way)in the relationship column,there is nothing in the Occupation column.As the family he was with was headed by a Grocer and Tea dealer I would think that basically he was a shop assistant. Thanks.. When i looked thought the word didn't look written as apprentice . also looked like something to do with Tea Thanks alot Pamx |
