Irene Report 26 Jul 2007 10:56

Hi Mary how are you? Thank you for your very kind offer. I am looking for George Mason (a coach painteer) on 21.03.1848 he was age 19 and attempted to murder my dear old ancestor Christianna Wilkes. There is an article about the incident in the Times Newspaper. He appeared in court 11th Feb 1848. Committed for trail. Not sure when the trail date was but on documents later when Christianna was applying for a pension it states Mason had been deported. Do not know if you can find anything about his departure from England, Many thanks and regards Irene

Hi Gina There are 12 John Salmons listed.Do you know where John was born or may have been living at the time of his conviction? No ages are shown on the database only the place where they were convicted. So some idea of where the offence took place would be very helpful. Regards Mary
