Get the certificates .................... that's the ONLY way to prove whether they are yours or not. Start by getting the most recent certificates first, then work backwards. All I can say is that it looks suspiciously as though they are yours. NEVER get hung up on the spelling of names, or on birth years. Remember that many, if not most, people were illiterate until very recently. Census takers were often only slightly more literate than other people. Many people didn't even know how to spell their own names. OR they didn't hear it properly! That happens even today .............. think Janet/Jean(n)et(te)/Jennet(te), etc. If you only hear it, or partially hear it, how would you spell it?? The way you have seen it in the past obviously ........ but this may not be the way it is actually spelt. My daughter has one of those variations I've just shown, and people NEVER get it right! Always be open to Susan/Sussan/Susanah/Susannah etc ............ if birth places, names of children etc etc seem to match then odds are someone didn't know how to spell!

HAVE to look on the image on 1901 ............... census taker did a screwup, put info on wrong lines, and transcriber didn't spot it! Arthur M was born in Dalston London Susannah was born in Salford Lancs Arthur M junior was born in Birkdale All the information on occupations and birth places is out by one line. This may help in finding them!!!

I think you're not finding them because they are tending not to use Montegue!! Plus .... you have the various ways of spelling the name. Try using Mont*
