Hi Angela, As for the birth dates of Robert and Angela, I did find on the Mormon site a marriage between a Robert Roberts and a Jemima Bibby, 21.10.1835, Liverpool, and as the surname of one of the witnesses at John and Mary`s marriage, was Richard Bibby, I 'assumed' the info could be ok. Kathlyn

Hi again Angela, I have just recd. the death cert for the Jemima Roberts you mentioned, Sep 1849 and she was 60 years old at the time of her death and 'my' Jemima would have been in her mid 30s. Kathlyn

Hi Angela, On the marriage cert of John and Mary it has the occupation of John`s father Robert as..what looks like 'farmer', but as John was the eldest son and his occupation was 'carter', I am inclined to suspect the hand writing that says 'farmer'. I am sure that I have the right marriage cert for John and Mary as the witnesses at that marriage and at Mary`s 2nd marriage are the same. Kathlyn

This looks like the same family you found on 1851 in 1841 - dad is an iron moulder the same. Maybe not yours, unless Jemima sometimes called herself Mary? I have the marriage cert of John Roberts to Mary Mawdsley, 1868, and his father is named as Robert Roberts, (abt 1812). John was born abt. 1843 in Liverpool and his mothers name is Jemima. I am unable to find Robert and Jemima, (abt 1816) in the 1841/1851 census even thought they were married in 1835 and had a daughter Mary by that time. I thought perhaps Jemima had died and Robert remarried as I found in the 1851 census a Robert Roberts married to a Mary and they had daughters Mary and Catherine and a son John, (who`s ages would fit in with Jemima), and a daughter Charlotte age 2 and a son William one month old. If this 1851 Robert is 'my' Robert, Jemima died and Robert re-married a Mary but I am unable to find a death for Jemima in the Liverpool area in the years 1844-1848ish. Any help would be so much appreciated. Kathlyn
