sorry i couldn't find them, did find a sarah and thomas brother and sister but they were born lincoln thomas born 1862 sarah 1849. Hi Margaret - this certainly looks like the family. On 1881 census Sarah is married to a William Blaylock and they have a Margaret aged 4 (Sarah's illeg daughter) with them plus Sarah's brother Thomas who is then 19. The Thomas on your 1871 list is 9 so that is correct and I notice that one of the other children was born Ireby - that is where Sarah was also born. Question now is where is Sarah ? I can only imagine that she is an elder daughter and is out working in service or a servant somewhere. Thanks you for your help.

if some kind poerson could find Sarah and Thomas( b.about 1862 )Mathers (brother and sister) on 1871 census. If I could find them it would open the door to getting their parents/subkings names. They will be in Cumberland.
