1841 Census-Middx Is there anyone with access to Origins who could look at the images for Wm Padwick birth county Middx. There are 2 listed -one aged 40 and one aged 38. I think the one I need is aged 38 but my computer cannot show the images. Ancestry does not have the younger one. Thanks

It says his occupation is a smith. Hes in a household with lots of other people, but no one else with the name Padwick.

Thanks Sue- that is the occupation I would have expected. Shame none of his family are with him, but I think his wife had died the previous year. Any chance of the address?

Pam, I think there might possibly be another Padwick living with Wm. on the 41 census. I think the census taker has used 'D' for ditto and under the name Wm. Padwick there's a John D. His age is 50 but I just can't make out his occupation. The address is Burns St., Marylebone.
