No, sorry, we're not as lucky as you are in Australia. Even modern death certs have very little information - a burial record from 1820 would just have the person's name, age, date of burial and place of abode. Thanks Mary. Would the burial record have any more details on it e.g husband, kids or parents?

Civil registration began in 1837, so the only information you can get for Elizabeth is the burial, which you already have.

Hi Looking for the death record of Ann Brown who was burried on 1st Jan 1840 in Long Wittenham Berkshire. Also Elizabeth Brown aged 21 who was burried 27th Dec 1820 in Long Wittenham. Any info would be much appreciated. Cheers Colleen
