could someone please look on 1901 for Benjamin Corlett born isle of man do not have birth date but i know he married unkown Keep and had at least two children in Newhaven Sussex a son Called Leonard born 1919 and a daughter called Ella any help would be appreciated ............... |

Is this your Ella's birth??? HI Reg i wonder if this is my man and i am wondering if he was in Newhaven Sussex by 1901 as far as i know he was a merchant seaman and so was his son who was born in Newhaven....... |

The 1881 is very odd, actually....... check it out on the LDS site You may find it better to search using the name Henry, born 1868. Living in Cleator, Cumberland Reg |

How do you know Leonard was born 1919?? I've searched 1919 and first quarter 1920 on the Complete Index on ancestry ................... no sign of a Leonard. |

Gary, Reg is right, no sign of Benjamin Corlett on the censuses, which is weird. Even if he had been a sailor, the odds of him never appearing from birth is strange! I think you have to get Ellen's birth certificate, and then go from there. |
