1861 census gives William Pinkstone Head - Ireland and Eliza Wife - Ireland. then 1871 gives William Pinkston head - Ireland and Bridget Wife. not sure whether he was married twice or whether Eliza and Bridget are same person. this is why was looking for marriage in Liverpool possibly second marriage to Bridget ? any thoughts. helen.

I've just checked 1871, and as both Bridget and at least the eldest of the children were born in Ireland, I rather fear that the marriage would have taken place over there. Reg
