Hi Reg, On the 1881 he's married, found his marriage in 1873 at Pendlebury, will have to send for the cert. He's at 14 Whitely St, off Melbourne St, Pendlebury, 1881. Was hoping he'd be with his parents in 1871, mother possibly Elizabeth b. 1828!! Struggling with these, cos they're hubby's family and he was sort of fostered at birth, so no one left alive to give us any info. Will check what info you've found, see if it fits at all. Looking for Joseph Price b. 1853/56 born Pendlebury, Lancs, possibly a coal miner on 1871, maybe in the Salford/Barton on Irwell area. Unmarried I think. Having probs with ancestry so getting nowhere. All help appreciated. Cheers Margaret.
