Would some kind person have a lookup for FLOOD STREET DUDLEY STAFFS, in 1850, sorry I don't know the number, and see if either a WILLIAM OXFORD or WILLIAM HAWKESWOOD both born 1830, both Father Joseph, lived there. I have a record of a marriage for July 1950, which states Oxford living Flood St, but I think it should be Hawkeswood. Thank You Maureen

Hi Maureen, I've had a look at Flood Street and interestingly, there's only one residence there. It's the Good Fellow Arms. I'm assuming that it's some sort of hotel? I couldn't see either of your men there. Sorry. Deb:)

Who was the bride? Have you traced the married couple on any census? Reg

Thank You for your trouble Debbie. That was a very interesting reply, I will find out about the the pub and landlord, and let you know. Also Reg thank you, I know about the people from birth to death, there is a mystery about the marriage, I think it has been transcribed down incorrectly. Maureen
