Hi Brian There are a number of people researching Sorsky on this site. If you haven't already done so why not ask them? Just go to the name search section. Hope this may help and good luck. Ron

Hi Guys Having had so much help from the great community here in finding my long lost family, My wife who never new her family has asked me to help her get started!!!. Thats where it gets complicated. All i have is as follows: My wifes maiden name is SORSKY (barbara) Father PERCYSORSKY D/B 26/09/1932 (Liverpool) Mother JOAN VERONICA NOLAN D/B 19/12/1933 (Ireland) Deceased 27/05/1990. Married Liverpool 1952 Parents of Peter Sorsky as follows: MAISH (MAURICE) SORSKY c 1904/5 DORA GOSS c1904/5 (KIEV UKRAINE) Married Liverpool c 1928 Lived at 35 Bamber St L'pool. DORA arrived between1910/15 L'Pool with a sister GERTIE from Kiev. Dora's mother possibly BETSIE CAPLIN??? husband a Cavalryman MAISH (MAURICE) father was SOLOMON SORSKY. We think Joan was born in Ireland out of wedlock and know nothing of her origins? Anyone able to enlighten me and unravel this mess would be a great help and appreciated!!! Many thanks in advance Brian A Walker.
