Hi Lisa No not thought of that? Do not know anything about William Campbell only that my Great Aunt married him in 1915? Do not know if he like her went to Canada from England through Britsh Home Children. Totally in the dark, her sister Hilda wrote to my late Great Uncle and told him of her move to America and her marriage to Coucier otherwise we may never have found her either? Thanks for your suggestion, but not sure I would know if it was staring me in the face? Love Janice xx

Janice: Have you tried to look for William's WWI attestation papers? www*collectionscanada*ca/index-e.html(replace * with .) (Click on Archives) There are a LOT of William's, but perhaps if he has papers, you might get a lead.

Hi Folks I have searched for hours tonight for every Bertha Campbell in American Census, so I begin to think she must have remained in Canada. They only have up to 1911 Census so I am really stuck now? Bertha married 1915 in Canada to William Campbell, wish they did births on Ancestry for Canada so I could check for GAME/CAMPBELL BIRTHS? Hi Malcolm Thank you for the three images you sent me, unfortunately they are not my Bertha. Bertha was definately born March 2nd 1894 as I have her birth certificate and she was Just Bertha, No Middle Name. The husband was definately William and not Walter as one census is for a Walter Campbell. Bertha had not been married before either as one census lists Bertha as previously married age 15 years? My Bertha was working as a Servant age 17 years for the family of James Connelly in Cobden, Renfrew. This is from the Census of British Homes Children taken 1911. Thank you anyway, but I am still searching if anyone can help? Janice xx

Can anyone help me find Bertha Game who Married William Campbell in Montreal, Canada on August 20th 1915? Have searched before but not located Bertha since her marriage. Bertha was from England and went to Canada on 15th of February 1907aboard the SS VICTORIAN as Part of The British Homes Children. BERTHA GAME Born March 2nd 1894 daughter of John Game & Julia Game formally PROSSER. With her was her sister HILDA GAME Born July 14th 1895. Hilda went onto Marry Cyrril Courcier and I have traced her and her children to Orange, Calafornia. Have all previous History on both girls, and both girls on Census 1911 in Canada, then Marriage details of Bertha through Barnardo's and Nothing Since. Checked America in case she followed her sister there and not located her? Cannot check Canada has I do not have full membership on Ancestry, can anyone find her Death or children of her marriage? Desperate to Locate her for elderly Aunt who is the only living GAME relative left and is the daughter of Herbert William Game who was brother of Hilda & Bertha, he remained in Bootle-cum-Linacre which is where the family came from. Thank you Janice xx
