1841/51/61 Look up please - Wilkinson

Hi all, I'd like to find the follwoing in 1841 and then 1851 as I think the father may have died in between. Then in '61 had Alice remarried. Christopher Wilkinson b 1780 Dent, his wife Alice Wilkinson probably younger by abt 10 yrs Children Mary Jane b1836, Richard 1838 and John1840. In 1851 there should be other children, Leonard 1843 and Alice 1844. Were there any others. Thanks in advance, Simon.

Hi Simon Strugging a bit here. Can you tell me who Alice Married and after Richard's death and when, also can you clarify which county Dent is in. Geography was never my strong point. Regards Cheryl

Hi Cheryl, Dent is in Yorkshire. All the family should be found in Manchester, Lancashire i'd have thought. Sorry I didn't put in down earlier. Simon

Cheryl, I don't think so. Could you find them in the 1851 census? it may give aclue ot finding them in the '41. Simon.

Cheryl, I really appreciate the help. There was another brother a Francis Wilkinson b1820 Dent, Yorkshire. He was living in Withington, Manchester when he married in 1842. I've not tried to find him on the 1841 yet. Perhaps you could, and we'll find the others that way. Cheers, Simon.
