Hi Kaz Thank you for taking the time and trouble. The only thing with that one is the date 1812. First child I have is 1806. Maybe the Ellesmere marriage is correct, maybe they had children in Ellesmere then moved to Broughton, had 4 more then moved back to Ellesmere before the 1841 Census!! I'm rambling now, sorry. Thanks again Kaz Christel

Hi Colette Thanks for that. Just searched 1841 census, have found Richard, 65 Eleanor 60, Eleanor 20 and William 15. I feel it has to be them, but William's age is 10 years out. UGH!!

Hi there thats a big gap between Ann 1806 and Thomas 1811.. do you have any other info on Richard was he still alive in 1841..or wife Eleanor ?? If you dont know there birth years how can you say when they married and started having kids.. these 4 you have found could be the last 4 they had.. they may have been in another parish before arriving at Broughton. I'm looking for the marriage of Richard Jones and Eleanor. I have found 4 children for them on the LDS site: Ann chr 1806, Thomas chr 1811, William chr 1816 and Eleanor chr 1819, all in Broughton by Wem. Can only find one marriage for a Richard Jones and Eleanor on LDS, Ellesmere 1798. I'm not convinced this is the right couple, as the first child isn't born until 1806. Can anyone help please, I'd be SO grateful
