Tracy, for that date, you will have to trawl through the Complete Index to UK BMDs. Go to ancestry.co.uk, click on Go Directly to UK Birthsd Marriages and Deaths. You will then have to sign up ........... but it is free to access all the bmd records. Then you have to trawl quarter by quarter, year by year. Good luck! Sylvia |

looking for richard james smith born 19/8/1867 in scotforth he was baptised at st mary's church, lancaster 22/9/1867 his parents were thomas smith and isabella nee jackson. on the 1901 census he is living at grovsenor place carnforth, he was at his daughter's (annie) wedding in 1935 so i know he died after this, cant find him on free bmd or lds, or parish records tracy |
