Hi Can anyone locate the birth of Alice J Kirby? It states on the census that she was born Barrowen, Rutland but i cannot find her birth? gina

Hi Gina, This is them in 1901. 3 doors away lives a 74 year old widow named Lois Tomblin. Hi I have an Alfred Kirby b.1862, Barrowden, Rutland. His parents were Joseph Kirby and Eleanor Kirby nee Ette. According to the census returns, somewhere between the 1881 and 1891, Alfred married Mary A ?. I am having great difficulty in locating the marriage and therefore establishing Mary's maiden name and birth year. Mary was also from Barrowden and i know of one daughter, Alice J ,also born Barrowden.Would be very grateful if anyone can shed any light on this problem. regards gina
