I wonder what the odds are that the marriage took place in Ireland..........or even in the USA? Henry was a soldier..........it was extremely likely that he met Bridget whilst he was posted overseas.................. Reg

i think i have just track down one of her childrens marriages Elizabeth Mclaughlin to Patrick Murphy from Brcton,Monmouth,in 1868 so i think i will have to order one of the childrens birth certs,but as two of them were born in USA how do i go about getting one joyce

Sorry to put a dampener on things, but I'm sure you will find, if you check, that maiden names were not recorded on death certs in those days. Reg

Hi Joyce, Cant find her marriage but i think ive found her death record if that helps.If you purchase a copy of the death cert it should tell you her maiden name on that.
