I would like a record looked up but it seems highly unlikely it could be done. name Henry Charles Crapper born 1851, Kings county, Kildare. Ireland As there were no birth certs. issued then it is a case of church records, baptisms. (not sure if these would now be in a records office) There is a good possibility the parents were William charles Crapper and Mary Nocton. Because of info. below. (I have henrys sisters birth cert. (born England) Her full name was Cecilia Mary Nocton Crapper.Note the middle names.) This william was a serving soldier in Limerick. (british army I believe) Married a Mary Nocton 1849. in Killaloe. I have the marriage cert. But until I can prove Henry 's birth ,it is not conclusive evidence these were his parents. After he married in oxford and had children he moved to Essex and had others. My aunt lived with him.I have the cencus. But it is his Irish birth record that I need. We have no record ever of date of birth. only year. No record of this on his death cert. that i have. just the year od birth. This would probably have to be done with some-one who is Genes re-united living in Ireland. I really need this to help complete a line of family. How-ever it is not much info. Carol
