HI Everyone, Many thanks for your replies, I appreciate them. I did originally get these entries from the Cambridge index online and thanks to Chris, he has confirmed the father was an organ builder, so it's all starting to connect. Thanks again everyone. Sue

Ther are 2 Mary Ann Salome Vincents on the BVRI, both in Edge Hill Lancashire, both with parents William Vincent & Elizabeth. 1. Born 9 Jul.1831, christened 7 Aug.1850 2. Born 3 Jul. 1850, christened 7 Aug.1850 Something wrong there, methinks! Same name, same place, same parents, both christened same day but one born 1831 and the other 1850!

Hello Sue, saw these burials on familyhistory online, Vincent Salome 1828 aged 1 Cambridge, St. Giles Vincent Salome 1826 11th Oct. aged 2+ Cambridge, St Andrew the Less Vincent Alfonso 1830 aged 6m Cambridge, St. Giles No other details I'm afraid. Chris :)

Sue, you may be able to look some of this up yourself. try www*cfhs*org*uk (changing asterisk to full stop) select 'Searchable Databases' and you will be able to look for christenings, marriages or burials Happy hunting Jim

HI, Would anyone happen to have or be able to check out the following entries in St. Giles, Cambridge please? I am trying to see if they link into a family who moved to Liverpool, my William was an organ builder and named a later child Mary Salome Vincent. I'd like to know if anymore information can be gleaned from the parish records. 1830 Alfred Vincent, 2m, Madingley Rd, s. of William & Elizabeth, Cambridge St. Giles. 1824 Salome Vincent, 0d, Gloucester Row, d.
