The Parishes of Chesterton and Charlton on Otmoor are also on the disc I have. Following Penny's suggestion I have now checked those as well and there is no baptism shown for Noah Freeman between 1842 and 1850 in either parish. I have also checked Wendlebury(being the closest parish to Weston on the Green) and there is no record of Noah's baptism there either between the dates I looked at for Chesterton and Charlton Mary

Thanks Deb and Jennifer. All I need to find now is his baptism. Rather confusing story this .... Noah I think becomes Henry after the 1861 census. The baptism date I have for Henry is 16 Sep 1842 and I need to confirm that this is when Noah was baptised to confirm that they are one and the same person because I do not know who 'Henry's' parents were.

Help please! I am trying to find the baptism for Noah Freeman who was born Aug 1842 in Weston on The Green, Bletchington, Bicester, Oxfordshire. Mary kindly checked the Weston on The Green Parish records for me to no avail. It looks like he must have been baptised in another parish ...can anyone help please? He was the son of Lucretia Freeman and John Tuffery. Thank You in anticipation....I am off to work now but will be glad to give any more info later. This man is eluding me and I think he is my great grandfather!
