Plan A - ask the people who live there now. Buying and selling of houses used to involve hugh wadges of paper proving that the house was the property of the seller and the chain went way back. Often the solicitors kept all the papers and they may still ahve them or have lodged them with the local archive. Plan B - Look up the Electoral Rolls for the years in question - should be held in local library or record office. Bryan

Hi Can anyone help. I am trying to find out who owned a property that my ancestors lived in. How can I find out is their a site I can look at? 1935 - 1946 time period. Many thanks Ann
