Hi If you go to the following page, of the Public Records office of Victoria, Unassisted Index to Immigration 1851-1923, and enter 'Empire of Peace' as the ship name, you will get 500 results for several voyages of the ship to Melbourne. You can add name and dates to narrow your search. http://proarchives.imagineering(.)com.au/index_search.asp?searchid=23 (take out the brackets, of course) Diane

Thank you Betty, Where do I look on Curious fox, I have got that site but can only seem to find people looking for relo's nothing about families traveling to Australia, Im looking for my Great Grandfather who came out here on this ship so would really appreciate if you can tell me how to find the info on Curious Fox Roz :-)

This is all I could find. EMPIRE OF PEACE (27/6/1861 - 4/10/1861) From Liverpool; 1,540 tonne; Captain Shaw; 226 passengers; 99 days Also there is some information of families who traveled from Ireland to Australia on the curiousfox site. Betty

Could anyone please tell me where I could get some info on a ship called The Empire of Peace, it sailed from I think Ireland to Australia in 1862 Thanks heaps Roz... :-)
