i have tried to order certificates but the sites won,t take my card when I wanted a record from london gro I had to phone them to get it. |

thankyou jennifer i think that is the right record what puzzles me is jean was born in hartlepool but the family were in and ithink the fathers side were from easington |

this could be her parents marriage, you would need to order her birth cert to make sure. samuel maddison -ellen mather 1951 j/f/m Durham E . volume 1a page 1015 |

you will prob need to get her birth cert for full names of parents. do you know her dads first name and was jean eldest or youngest? 1953 a/m/j .w hartlepool, volume 1a ,page1547 mothers maiden name mather |

Do you mean 1953? The only way to establish the names of her parents is to locate the birth registration (in the full records on Ancestry) and purchase the cert at a cost of £7.00 Reg |

I am looking for the parents of a Jean Maddison born 5-5-53 in hartlepool. I believe the mothers maiden name may be mather.Her parents would be from the county durham area.Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou Laura |
