However I have to mention that I sent Sarah images for the 1871,81 and 91 censuses 6 days ago after doing extensive searches for the Curnow family. Had the birthplace for William been given in the lookup request the earlier searches would have been more straightforward,without numerous people having to delve back to find information that had already been supplied. On the 1851 census there are 3 William Curnows born Cornwall in 1850 and another 2 born 1849. I think your best bet is to work backwards from the census that you have him on. Margaret
