I have posted a possible marriage in 1858 Maureen

i've seen a Ann Billet born Wirrel churchwood age 30 on the 1851 census could this be the lady i'm looking for?

Many thanks Reggie and Glitter baby, this is definately right but i still can't find the marriage, i'm assuming Billet is ann's surname as their child - Thomas's has it as his middle name as does Ambroses's brother Thomas uses his wife Annie Mitchell's surname as middle name for there younyest child...maybe jumping to the wrong conclusion...

Hi Reggie, i did look on the BMD, but didn't find anything -unless i'm not looking proply, and i'm assuming that Billet is Ann's surname...now what youv'e just posted looks to be the wright one's and Thomas Ambrose's brother is living with him...but Thomas married a Annie Mitchell from Liverpool (1848C-1875) she was a good 20 years younger than Thomas, so it looks like Ambrose also married a Ann from Liverpool or have i got that wrong? just going to take another look at what youv'e sent..many thanks

Are you presuming the mothers maiden name is Billet because Thomas has this as a middle name Maureen

Hi, Please could somebody kindly look up a marriage for me - Ambrose Worthington and Anne Billet, not sure what year..i have these children which i found on the Lan-opc Bolton-le-sands, parish register James Worthington b 28/07 1859 Thomas Billet Worthington b 13/01/1861 Ambrose Worthington b 15/10/1864 So maybe the marriage was in the late 1850's...i've a feeling that Ambrose was born in 1830 parents Betty Arkwright and James worthington,other siblings Thomas 1828, Jane 1832, James 1834, John 1837, William 1840 and Elizabeth 1845..any help would be much appreciated
