Oh bother - the one match they claim just on surname is on GRO Chaplains Returns (Army) 1796 to 1880 and no one with the christian name of Andrew. Unfortunately with overseas marriage there are 10 - 12 different catergories. To check each one is 3 units. Sorry not got that many units left. Maureen

Just having a look to save anyone else doing the same At the moment using just name of Wilkes it is showing one match between 1800 and 1815 so will take a look Maureen

Does any very kind person have a credit that theycan chec the name ANDREW WILKES in Marriages British Overseas 176 - 1994. Andrew was a mariner so could have married abroad. His first child was born around 1811 so he shoudl have married about that time. He was born 1777. Any help would b much appreciated. Many thanks Irene
